Zhongyilong Hardware | Safety Rules And Operating Points For CNC Machining
With the development of manufacturing industry, many precision parts are now processed by CNC. CNC machining is suitable for complex machining, many processes, high requirements, many general machine tool models, many tool fixtures, and the machining can be completed after multiple clamping and part adjustments. Therefore, CNC machining plays a very high role in CNC equipment. Many Parts processing companies will apply it. So what are the safety rules and operating points for CNC machining? The following is the introduction by editor Zhong Yilong.
1. CNC machining safety rules:>
1. The safe operating procedures of the machining center must be followed.
2. Before working, you should wear protective equipment as required and tie your cuffs. Scarves, gloves, ties and aprons are not allowed. Female workers should wear their braids in hats.
3. Before starting the machine, check whether the tool compensation, machine zero point, workpiece zero point, etc. are correct.
4. The relative position of each button should meet the operating requirements. Carefully compile and enter the CNC program.
5. Check the operating status of the protection, insurance, signal, position, mechanical transmission part, electrical, hydraulic, digital display and other systems on the equipment. Cutting can only be done after everything is normal.
6. During the trial operation of the machine tool before processing, the operation of the lubrication, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, digital display and other systems should be checked. Cutting can only be carried out after everything is normal.
7. After the machine tool enters processing operation according to the program, the operator is not allowed to touch the moving workpiece, tool and transmission part, and it is prohibited to transfer or take tools and other items through the rotating part of the machine tool.
8. The machine tool must be stopped when adjusting the machine tool, clamping workpieces and tools, and wiping the machine tool.
9. No tools or other items should be placed on electrical appliances, operating cabinets and protective covers.
10. Do not remove iron filings directly with your hands. Special tools should be used when cleaning.
11. If any abnormality or alarm signal is found, stop the vehicle immediately and ask relevant personnel to check.
12. Do not leave the workstation while the machine tool is running. When leaving for any reason, the workbench should be placed in the middle position, the tool rod should be retracted, the machine should be stopped, and the power supply to the host machine should be cut off.
2. Key points of CNC machining operations:>
1. In order to simplify positioning and installation, each positioning surface of the fixture should have precise coordinate dimensions relative to the processing origin of the machining center.
2. In order to ensure that the installation orientation of the parts is consistent with the direction of the workpiece coordinate system and machine tool coordinate system selected during programming, and install it directionally.
3. It can be disassembled in a short time and replaced with a fixture suitable for new workpieces. Since the auxiliary time of the machining center has been compressed very short, the loading and unloading of the support fixture cannot take up too much time.
4. The number of parts of the fixture should be as small as possible and the rigidity should be high.
5. The clamp should be opened as much as possible, the spatial position of the clamping element should be as low as possible, and the installation clamp should not interfere with the tool path of the work step.
6. Ensure that all processing of the workpiece is completed within the stroke range of the spindle.
7. For machining centers with interactive worktables, due to the movement, lifting, lifting, and rotation of the worktable, the fixture design must prevent spatial interference between the fixture and the machine tool.
8. Try to complete all processing contents in one clamping. When it is necessary to replace the clamping points, special care must be taken not to damage the positioning accuracy by changing the clamping points. If necessary, please indicate this in the process documentation.
9. Where the bottom surface of the fixture contacts the workbench, the flatness of the bottom surface of the fixture must be within 0.01-0.02mm, and the surface roughness should not be greater than Ra3.2um.
The above safety rules and operating points about CNC machining are shared with you here. Hope this article is helpful to everyone.
