Basic Introduction

ABS engineering plastics are PC+ABS ( engineering plastic alloys ). In the chemical industry, its Chinese name is plastic alloy . It is named PC+ABS used in CNC production because this material has both the excellent heat and weather resistance, dimensional stability and impact resistance of PC resin and the excellent processing fluidity of ABS resin . Therefore, it can be used in thin-walled and complex-shaped products to maintain its excellent performance and the moldability of materials composed of plastic and an ester . The biggest disadvantage of ABS engineering plastics is its heavy weight and poor thermal conductivity. Its molding temperature is taken from the temperature between the two raw materials, which is 240-265 degrees. If the temperature is too high, ABS will decompose, and if it is too low, the fluidity of PC material will be poor.

Mechanical properties

ABS has excellent mechanical properties, its impact strength is very good, and it can be used at extremely low temperatures: ABS has excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, and oil resistance, and can be used for bearings under medium loads and speeds. ABS has greater creep resistance than PSF and PC, but less than PA and POM. ABS's bending strength and compression strength are relatively poor among plastics. ABS's mechanical properties are greatly affected by temperature.
